Where Have I been

I don't think I can tell you what I've been doing. I just know, I've been busy. Of course - busy to me now - isn't anything like it use to be. I would like to complete all the projects that were started during the fall and winter. I would like to clean my sewing room and hang the - closed - sign up. I have a garden that I would like to focus on. It's all across the front yard. I also have a "schools out party to plan". It's coming!

My John and Dallin are in St. George this week. I stayed home to concentrate.

I have my window open and I can hear the birds outside. I can hear the lawn mowers going and I can feel a spring breeze. I think I am in heaven.

I'm sorry, now it's winter again, snow!!!!!!!!!!!! No, wait a minute, it melted and the suns up, maybe it's spring. For sure, it's winter, everything is covered with snow.

Ug, now the snow has melted again and the spring air is coming through the window and the poor birds don't know weather to chirp or shiver.

Oh, I didn't tell you. I received a small package in the mail from a special friend. She has been going to antique stores in her new area in Florida. She found a thimble that was from the Victoria Era, covered with tarnish. She bought it for me and cleaned it and sent it. I was so very excited, I'm sorry that I can't put a better picture of it on here. Thank you so much Cynthia.
